Dubai and Novosibirsk will be connected by new direct flights

S7 will launch regular flights from Novosibirsk to Dubai from the middle of March.

Russian airline S7 Airlines will launch regular flights from Novosibirsk to Dubai from March 17, 2023. Flights from Novosibirsk will depart once a week on Fridays.

Return flights will be on Saturdays – on March 18 and 25, and from March 31 – on Fridays. Travel time will be about six hours. The flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800. Currently, flydubai airline provides direct flights from Dubai to Novosibirsk.

Earlier the United Arab Emirates, along with Turkey, has entered the ranking of the most popular destinations for tourists from Russia for the May holidays. According to the travel industry players, 21% of all bookings accounted for the UAE, 50% – for Turkey.

In 2022 Russian citizens made more than 1.2 million trips to the United Arab Emirates. Thus, the UAE is in the top five most popular foreign destinations for Russians.

It is specified that almost 910 thousand trips were made for tourist purposes, twice more than a year earlier. Along with this, the most popular destination is Turkey, the UAE ranked second.

Tourists arriving in the United Arab Emirates do not need to show a certificate of vaccination or the negative results of PCR-test to get on a flight. At the same time, passengers traveling with a stopover in Dubai must follow the requirements of their final destinations.
