About 30 products from Russia started to be sold in the UAE

Russia began to sell 28 new types of food in the Emirates.

In one of the largest trade networks of the United Arab Emirates 28 kinds of food products of two Russian companies appeared. So, the company “Agro-Alliance” presented in the network Union Coop seven kinds of pasta, as well as buckwheat, semolina, oat flakes, barley and millet.

Dya Vanya Group sold several types of eggplant caviar, gherkins, lecho, pickles (an assortment of pickled vegetables), as well as tomatoes and beans. Goods can be found with the English-language label Uncle Vanya.

Development Director of “Uncle Vanya” Vitaly Dulienko said that it was the first time when the company supplied its products to the Emirates. According to him, they found a partner in Dubai and agreed to supply goods to the network with the help of Russian Export Center (REC).

Now the products are mainly bought by Russian speakers, but they are also promoted among others. Igor Tsarakov, Director of Agro-Alliance sales on international markets, also added that the company has been involved in the program of food promotion in foreign pavilions for two years.

Now showrooms with Russian food and agricultural products are organized not only in the UAE, but also in Vietnam, Egypt, China and Turkey. And in the near future they will open them in Saudi Arabia.
